A chassis and running gear service includes areas below the main body of the caravan or trailer ensuring vehicle safety
The chassis service is an important part of any service for a caravan or trailer. Checks will include road lighting, hitch assembly, overrun assembly, draw bar, chassis components, axle tube, suspension assembly and the removal of the road wheels for tyre inspection. Brake drums are also removed to manually inspect and adjust braking components and lubricate all working parts.
